Enjoy a guided tour with us and discover Ireland’s medieval past. Carlingford is a fine example of a medieval walled town built at the time of the Normans in the 12th century.
Our guides will take you on tours of the historic remains, including one of Carlingford Castle. We meet you at the Tourist Office.

Please note that whilst many OPW heritage sites are waiving fees for the rest of the year, as stated on the OPW website (HeritageIreland.ie) 'charges will continue to apply at sites where access is managed by [their] community partners'. Therefore, entrance fees still apply. However, we are delighted to be offering free tours for all of Heritage Week, 2023, 12th-20th August.
