Carlingford Heritage Keepers Project

Carlingford Heritage Keepers Project

This is a unique project that uses the interpretation of local children to describe some of our Heritage buildings and create a fun experience for visiting children and young people.

The children from the Carlingford Youth Group and St. Olivers National School visited each Heritage Site in Carlingford. With the help of Carlingford Tidy Towns and the Carlingford Lough Heritage Trust, the two groups recorded their stories about Carlingford Castle, The Tholsel, The Mint and The Abbey. This has been uploaded to our website and is linked through a QR code on the signage in  the garden

Video of The Abbey, The Mint and The Tholsel coming soon
